Can I use FIELD CONSTRAINTS on MySQL?
MySQL doesn't support declarative CHECK CONSTRAINTs, you could use triggers as a workaround. However, you can do those checks with triggers. If a BEFORE trigger fails, the operation on the corresponding row is not performed.
